OneBeat Recommends: Sehsüchte Filmfestival 23.-28. April
Was macht eigentlich weltweit der Film-Nachwuchs? Vom 23. bis 28. April 2013 geht Europas größtes und gleichzeitig sicherlich das charmanteste internationale Studentenfilmfestival Sehsüchte der Sache mal wieder nach! Zum 42. Mal ist das Filmfestival damit Forum für Ideen, neue Erzählweisen und Ästhetiken – vor allem aber Treffpunkt für junge Filmemacher und Cineasten. Neben Filmen gibt es jede Menge Workshops, Parties, Filmquiz, das berühmt-berüchtigte Filmemacherfußball-Tunier und natürlich einen Konzertabend von OneBeat mit Elephant. In guter alter Tradition wird das Festival vom Medienwissenschafts-Studierenden der HFF auf die Beine gestellt, da kann man schon mal den Weg nach Potsdam auf sich nehmen!

The Sehsüchte flame burns brightly again in Potsdam-Babelsberg from April 23 to 28, 2013. For the 42nd time, the Konrad Wolf University for Film and Television is organising the biggest student film festival in Europe. Students of the master’s programme in media studies, assisted by others from varied degree programmes, are showing films from the best young filmmakers at the university as well as on the grounds of Babelsberg Studios. Not only does the festival represent exciting and innovative works of young filmmakers from all over the world, it provides a unique atmosphere in the middle of Germany’s film centre—making Sehsüchte a significant festival in the cultural landscape.
