Bio & Sound
I create electronic music… at home and on stage. In my tracks and live-sets you will find sine-wave-melodies and pure rhythms consisting of clicks and cuts. You’ll find straight bass drums and real instruments as well. I have listened to Autechre, I have listened to Robert Hood but I equally adore Lennon and McCartney. I have a weakness for sound gimmics, toys and blinking things. And I like building lego.
I studied at University of Arts Berlin. I have been lucky enough to have collected varied experiences while working for studios, agencies and playing in different musical constellations. I have been inspired while touring with my band computer, attending seminars by Karl Bartos and coping with my caffeine addiction at the Red Bull Music Academy in Rome.
I don’t DJ, I play live. Mostly with a laptop but without staring at the screen. I prefer putting up a couple of controllers and synths and jamming my way through my livesets. How does that sound like? Difficult to pin down, sometimes melancholic and experimental – sometimes more straight forward and club friendly. I have released some music on the labels Diskomafia and pop-u-loud and have plenty online to listen to…
