“Gimme a groove I can dance to” – the 1982 “Thriller” album by the King of Pop can be seen as ma tias’s entrance into the magic world of music. Influenced by the founding fathers of Disco and Psyrock, he was making his way through the soundscapes. By the mid-1990s there was Hip Hop, Soul and the first electronic impulses of Drum ‘n Bass as well as Trip Hop. Thus, it became faster, louder and more diversified. ma tias developed his liking for Goa-Trance and progressive UK Sound, mixing and the CD as a medium. After being trained in the CD production of the “Edel” label, he finally moved to Berlin, picking up the vibes and energy of this place. Today ma tias’s music is pure House and Techno, but even more: It’s an own style.
